Connect to DevKit

OptiView can connect to any remote DevKit over the network, regardless of the platform it is installed on. 
Upon launch, users are prompted to enter the **IP address** and **root password** of the target DevKit to establish the connection. 
For the default root password, contact `support@sima.ai <mailto:support@sima.ai>`_.

If OptiView is installed directly on the DevKit, no password is required to access and control the device.

Once connected, the bottom toolbar displays key system metrics retrieved from the DevKit:

- Firmware version  
- CPU load  
- Memory usage  
- MLA (Machine Learning Accelerator) memory usage
- File system usage
- Board core temperature (available on **Davinci** DevKit only)

These metrics provide immediate visibility into the system status of the connected DevKit.

In addition, the ``/data/simaai/applications`` directory on the remote DevKit is automatically shown in the OptiView code editor. 
Users can select an application folder from a dropdown menu to explore or edit its contents directly within the IDE.
