DevKit Interfaces

Interface

Description

Ethernet Ports (eth0, eth1)

RJ45, GigE network interfaces for remote connectivity in standalone mode.

PCI-Express 4.0 x4 Interface

High-speed PCIe interface used for integration into a host system. Adapters may be required depending on the host configuration. Available in PCIe mode only.

Operation Mode Switch

Configures the operating mode of the DevKit: All switches on: Standalone mode. Switch 1 off: PCIe mode.

12V Power (J8)

Powers the DevKit in standalone mode. Requires a 12V power adapter, use the included power adapter to connect to this port.

I2C (J1)

Enables communication with I2C-compatible peripherals for control or data exchange.

GPIO Header (J2)

Offers general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pins for custom use, such as controlling external devices or sensors.

COM Port to Host (J4)

Facilitates debugging by connecting to the host system. Ensure the arrow sign on the included cable connects to the left-most pin for proper alignment.

Reset Button

Available in standalone mode only. Allows resetting the device for a fresh boot or to recover from errors.

Debug COM Port (J5)

Provides a debug COM port for T-root access or flashing the device. Use this for low-level debugging or firmware updates.

Run/Program Switch

Toggles between Run and Programming modes: - On: Run mode for normal operation. - Off: Programming mode for firmware updates or configuration changes.
